North Tabor’s great cafe, serving both Stumptown and Intelligensia (Chicago) beans. They make excellent espresso drinks pulled from a Synesso machine and the baristas are really nice. They also serve kick ass bagels that used to be from NY but now are from Kettlemans, and their pastries from Crema. What I really like about the place is that is very warm and inviting. There is plenty of space, they have a strong Wifi connection, and they have outlets near every table. The place is really clean, with concrete and bamboo counters, art on the walls, and they even have a bunch of dog sculptures. Oh yeah, they also have an area for children in the back. The whole “seven virtues” thing is also interesting because it really adds a positive vibe to the place.
