This super-duper-market chain started out here way back in the day, but eventually got bought out by Ohio-based Kroger. Oh well. You can buy all your ordinary (and not so ordinary, they have an extensive line of natural foods as well) groceries here, as well as TVs, garden supplies, underwear, and bicycles. It’s your all-purpose stop, and Jello Biafra once mentioned it too. The locals refer to it as “Freddies.”
