Outside of Citybikes is a new cob kiosk and bench, a shrine to the Virgin Guadalupe, and a new community garden where part of a parking lot has been depaved.

This worker-owned cooperative has two convenient locations on Ankeny. The main shop (1914 SE Ankeny St) specializes in bike repair and used parts, and the Annex (734 SE Ankeny St) specializes in used bike sales (which they overhaul on-premises), bicycle accessories, and bike rentals. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Make sure you schedule an appointment early for bicycle work, since they tend to get quite backed up, especially in summer. Bike rentals available.
