Cinema Project is a collectively run screening series highlighting innovative film work, both historical and contemporary, by well recognized and accomplished artists from around the world. They make an effort to bring artists to present their work in person, and in almost all cases, the work they show has never been screened in Portland or the Pacific Northwest for that matter. Cinema Project operates seasonally (programming in the Fall takes place between September and December and Spring season goes from late February through May). They also collaborate regularly with other arts groups in town that can happen in other locations.
